New Year, New Choices
In reflecting upon 2007, what changes would you like to make in 2008 for a healthier and happy life? Many people resolve to make changes in their life for the new year and then fall back into their old ways. Have you considered joining one of the many programs that are available to Active Agers? They can help you to break out of your current habits by surrounding you with supportive staff and programs that you can stick with all year long.
We would love to hear back from you in the space provided below.
The easiest way to find someone in you area to talk with is to go to one of our centers and say hello.
You can find our centers, contact info, and how to get there on our locations page. http://www.seniorspectum.com/locations They are sorted by county.
David- The person you should talk to at the Brunskswick center is Deb Atwood. She is a nice lady and would be more than happy to help.

I turn 59 next Tuesday - newly retired from military. Iraq was my last assignment which makes me appreciate retiring here in the Brunswick area. I would enjoy participating in a day-time excersize group - I like yoga - would like to try "pilates" (sp?). Excersize is more fun with a group. Especially where everyone goes at their own pace. -- Also, I would like to look into meals on wheels. Maybe I could help with folks who have difficulty getting out and about. I know it may be unusual for a man but I actually like going shopping at grocery stores. Also, in 2008 I am trying to eat more vegies and much less red meat. I don't know if I could be a vegitarian but might try my hand at cooking this way. --

at age 72 i have more aches and pains that limit my movement. I need to move more, eat better and lose a few pounds. I had attended several exercise classes at the Cohen center last fall. I need to start going back to the exercise classes and maybe eat fewer desserts when i go to the Cohen center for lunch.
